If your bedroom is small or you have a narrow entryway and you need storage, mount a tabletop, cabinet, or side table to the wall. It will make the space seem larger and take up less floor space. A new sofa or sectional with lift up seats gives new meaning to hidden storage in plain sight. A smart speaker is a space saving tool that eliminates many of the remotes taking up residence in your home. It offers the ease of operating the TV, music, or doorbell without the burden of finding and storing a remote or phone. Mount floating shelves or open wall shelving above a window in a kitchen, kids room, or small corner to create an office space. Hang a shelf above a toilet in the bathroom. You can also mount shelving or ledges above the door and around it. The stairwell is a great space for building a custom bookcase or cabinet. It can also serve as a kid's play space. Place a storage bench at the foot of your bed. It's perfect for storing blankets and shoes, but it's also great for shoving things away for a quick room cleanup.
